These activities include Conferencing, Meetings, Wedding Receptions, Celebration Parties, Disco and Live music, Sportsman’s Dinners. etc.
As evidence of the quality of our amenities, Blue Flames Sporting Club have been selected as one of only 20 sites in the North East to be included in the 2012 Olympics brochure as a Pre Games Training Camp (PGTC)
3 Function rooms of differing sizes each have a Licenced Bar installed. Hot and Cold food can be supplied. Kitchen facilities are available adjacent to each room. Wi-Fi, Broadband and Presentation Facilities are available .
The new Indoor Sports Hall comprises 3 Full-size courts, supporting Netball, Tennis, 5-a-side Football, Cricket nets, changing facilities, 200 seat Function room, daytime Snack-Bar and the main Reception area for the site.
The main Club building comprises 2 Function rooms (100 seater and 200 seater) with Bars, a 40 Station Fitness Centre (equipped with Life Fitness Equipment), Male and Female changing facilities, and Company offices.
Northumberland F.A. has its headquarters on-site.
West Allotment Celtic Football Club (of the Arngrove Northern League) use the Floodlit Main Pitch as their Home Ground, making use of the secure access and spectator seating.
National and International teams (England U21, Turkey, Barcelona, Dynamo Kiev, Juventus, Roma and Sporting Lisbon) have used the site as pre-match training facilities.
Tyne & Wear Netball and the Northern Regional Netball Association, use the Sports Hall for their major events. Blue Flames Ladies Netball are based at Whitley Park.
Blue Flames Cricket Club, plus several other local Cricket teams use the site as their Home ground. Facilities include Scorebox, Pavilion and Site-screens.
Several Bowls teams plus individual bowlers make use of the excellent 6 rink Bowling Green, with dedicated Pavilion and tea-room.
THE ANNUAL FIREWORKS DISPLAY (5TH NOVEMBER) IS A “MUST GO” ATTRACTION.
