Following development over the past 10 years, The Blue Flames Sporting Club has become an exciting Sports Complex, combining numerous additional facilities, supporting a wide variety of activities across the areas of Sports, Business and Social functions.    

As evidence of the quality of our amenities, Blue Flames Sporting Club have been selected as one of the sites in the North East to be included in the 2012 Olympics brochure as a Pre Games Training Camp (PGTC).

The Indoor Sports Hall comprises 3 Full-size courts, supporting Netball, Tennis, 5-a-side Football, dedicated Cricket nets, changing facilities, 200 seat Function room, daytime Snack-Bar and the main Reception area for the site.

Typical activities in the Sports Hall are:- Netball, Tennis, 5-a-side Football, Cricket Nets, Personal Fitness Training,  

There are 3 Function rooms (100, 200 & 250 seat capacities), each have a Licenced Bar installed.  Kitchen facilities are available adjacent to each room offering the option of Hot and Cold food if required. Wi-Fi, Broadband and Presentation Facilities are available.

Disabled access and facilities are available in all Ground Floor areas.

Typical activities in the Function Rooms include:-  Conferences, Meetings, Exhibitions, Wedding Receptions, Birthday Parties, Children’s Parties, Fundraising events, Presentation Nights, Disco and Live Music, Sportsman’s Dinners. etc. 

The Outdoor Site supports:-

•      3 full size Football pitches, including a Northern League status main pitch, used by West Allotment Celtic and Northumberland FA for League matches,  Cup  Finals etc. 
•      Coaching Courses (Football, Cricket etc.)
•      Family Fun days, It's a Knockout etc.
•      A good quality Cricket square with Pavilion and Sight Screens
•      6 Link Bowling Green with Pavilion and self contained Refreshments Bar
