Blue Flames is a registered Community Amateur Sports Club and a not-for-profit business whose mission is to provide quality sporting facilities at affordable prices to the community at large. As evidence of the quality of our amenities, we have been selected as one of only 20 sites in the North East to be included in the 2012 Olympics brochure as a Pre Games Training Camp. The Northumberland F.A. has its HQ on our site and West Allotment Celtic of the Arngrove Northern League plays its home games here.

An exciting new multi-million pound Sports, Conference and Leisure Centre enables Blue Flames to offer quality indoor facilities to the existing activities on offer. The Blue Flames Sporting Club has a proud record of providing affordable sport and leisure activities to the community. Now the current outdoor offerings of football, cricket and bowls will be augmented with indoor sports like 5 a side football, netball and tennis.

The outdoor Greenfield facilities are often hired out for Sports Events (including Tournaments and Coaching Programmes), Family Fun Days, It's A Knockout, 5-a-side Football, BBQ's and many other outdoor events.

The Blue Flames Conference & Leisure Centre is not only a sports venue.

The Centre has 3 licensed function rooms (with capacities from 100 to 250), with the flexibility to be laid out to cater for any event, whether large or small. Catering, from tea & coffee, Buffets etc through to Fully Professional 5 Course Dining can be provided (ask Reception for sample menu's - or discuss your requirements.)

Each Function room can be booked for events such as Wedding Receptions, Christenings, Celebration Events, Birthday Parties, (Children's Parties are particularly popular), Sportsman's Dinners, Prizegivings etc.

The Blue Flames Conference and Leisure Centre with a 200 seating function room provides excellent facilities for the Business Community to deliver Conference, Seminar, Meeting and Training needs.

Presentation facilities, including Audio Visual, Wi-Fi and Broadband are available to meet the needs for a professional organisation.

Blue Flames is open from 7:30 am to 10:30 pm for sport and hot and cold refreshments are available at all times. The licensed bars are available from 11 am to 11 pm (11:30 pm if agreed in advance).
